The WATTSTUNDE WS140EFX Marine Solarpanel Flexible 140W has a maximum power of 140 watts and uses effective cells with ActiveWire technology. These cells guarantee a high yield and have an efficiency of more than 20%. The flexible solar panels from WATTSTUNDE are suitable for glued installation on campers, sailing boats and yachts. The integrated aluminum plate gives the solar panel the necessary stability to guarantee a long service life. When the EFX solar panels are mounted on a solid surface, the panels can also be walked on.

The new ActiveWire technology shortens the distances between the conductors of the solar cells, so that loss can be minimized and the current intensity is increased. If a cell rupture occurs, the effect remains limited locally. This innovative construction of closely connected conductors with 19 busbars guarantees a high degree of reliability of the solar panel. By using thinner wires in the solar panel, more sunlight is collected than with conventional solar panels and the partial shading is minimized. This construction maximizes the energy yield. Thanks to the integrated bypass diodes in the junction box, the panel can continue to produce energy even in case of shadow or under low light conditions.

The waterproof junction box at the front of the solar panel makes it possible to glue the panel. We recommend Sikaflex 291i for bonding. Sikaflex 291i has a very wide adhesion spectrum. Sikaflex 291i is specially designed for ABS plastic mounting on campers, caravans, boats and roofs. Sikflex 291i adheres well to a large number of surfaces and is suitable for making durable, elastic seals. Suitable substrates are wood, metals, metal primers and coatings (2-C systems), ceramic materials and plastics.

The connection cables are deliberately designed without MC4 connectors. The choice is yours: the loose cable ends can be connected both under the deck and directly on the roof. Tip: the cable entry can be made directly through the support plate. A suitable cable gland has already been prepared at the factory.
